How do I get the most accurate color match?

Capture colors in natural daylight near a window. Avoid direct shadows on the wall. Hold your phone parallel to the wall surface and use the center crosshair to aim precisely.

Why does the matched color look different on my screen?

Phone displays and lighting conditions affect how colors appear. Always confirm with a physical paint swatch before purchasing.

Which paint brands are supported?

Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, PPG, and Farrow & Ball — thousands of real paint colors.

What does the match percentage mean?

It shows how close the paint color is to your captured color. 90%+ is an excellent match. The app uses the CIEDE2000 Delta E algorithm — the industry standard for color accuracy.

Having an Issue?

• Make sure you've granted camera permission in Settings > Walltone
• Restart the app if the camera does not appear
• Ensure your device is running iOS 18 or later
• Try capturing in better lighting if match results are poor
